Client Success Story: Heather Tufts
Heather is Founder and Director of Rural Synergy Foundation.
She’s the sixth generation of her family to grow up in the rural Surprise Valley, California. So as a kid she was able to play in creeks, go camping, help on the family ranch, and, “ride bikes all day exploring town.”
After growing up she moved to a large city.
She also developed extensive professional experience in city government, K-12 education, and non-profits.
So Heather began to wonder how she could use her experiences, “to provide a positive impact on children and their families in rural communities.” Thus, Rural Synergy.
Before I joined The Starter's Club... a lot was new for me in both life and business.

So there was a lot happening :)
What I wanted was clarity and direction. I wanted balance.
I also wanted to learn how to prioritize the most important actions to achieve the greatest results in all aspects of my life.
My only hesitation with joining was the potential time commitment. I was afraid I would not make the time to implement what I was learning because of my many existing commitments.
Right after signing up I was excited and determined to stay committed!
What I liked best? Definitely the engagement with the participants. We developed great relationships.
Also, during the sessions themselves we practiced what we were learning [in the lessons].
Daniel's consistent follow-up helped me not only to stay on track and engaged but it also helped me as a leader. He taught me consistency and persistence as something I can replicate!
The Starter's Club helped me gain confidence and clarity about my purpose. This resulted in higher quality leads for my sales process.
I also really benefited from the other participants sharing their progress, aha moments, and the tools that Daniel created. I’ve gone back to review these several times.
I would recommend the Starter's Club to anyone who is either starting their own business or looking to scale an existing business. The key is that they need to be doing it, not just thinking about it.
The Starter’s Club provides great content, opportunites for growth and connections BUT it requires participants who are hungry, in motion and needing a bit more of a push forward.
The most valuable insight? It had to do with sales — both the essentials and understanding the inner/outer game.
These concepts helped me realize how much I do not know about sales and how sales is in everything we do. I especially liked the story about the new chiropractor in town who went door-to-door meeting his new neighborhood.
The most important thing others should know about The Starter's Club is to have patience and flow with the curriculum/sessions. There is a depth of intentionality and planning... It's designed to support your organic growth.
