Thank You Mark Kistler

When I was a kid I ran home from the school bus and dove in front of the TV.

Why?

To watch Mark Kistler's show The Imagination Station!

My best friend and I sat on the ground, and listened to Mark teach us how to draw in 3-D.

I loved his zany persona and how he'd shout, "Draw Draw Draw!!" Mark strengthened my youthful imagination, and that's something I'll never forget.

Years later I realized something else awesome about Mark.

When he was 15 years old he read Napolean Hill's classic Think And Grow Rich. He decided he wanted to teach 1,000,000 kids how to draw, and he got to work. And by his 21st birthday -- with the help of public television -- he reached his goal.

Mark has been teaching millions of children to "unlock their imagination" for decades ever since.

His vision, dedication, compassion, and entertaining style were even honored by an Emmy:

Thank you for encouraging us to dream Mark!
